MARCO ZANINI, was born in Trento, Italy, in 1954. He graduated in architecture in 1978 in Florence. From 1975 to 1977 he worked for Argonaut Company of Los Angeles. During this time period, he also did freelance work in San Francisco. In 1977, back in Milano, he collaborated with Ettore Sottsass, and in 1980 became a principal member of Sottsass Associati, during which he became a founding member of Memphis. He now works in the fields of mechanical, electronic, furniture and household, interior and architectural design.
